Bait tank pump constantly vapor locking when coming off of a plane if traveling over 25 knots. I have a 33 Express.

How many clamshell pickups do you have under the boat. Most have two. This Pentair is a bait well pump (centrifugal). You probably have a ShurFlo for your wash down. I don't have any experience with the Pentair Bait Sentry pump. Airlock problem may be unique to this pump.

    fuel tanks 265 express

It's not that hard... No access to fuel fills, main tank can't be removed without cutting bulkhead out, even with bulkhead out tank can't tilt up without cutting step. But this is a 268 Islander.

I'm not convinced that he has a ShurFlo bait well pump. Maybe a ShurFlo wash down. I have never talked to anyone that didn't have a factory Rule centrifugal bait well pump. And I have never heard of a centrifugal pump that airlocked - diaphragm pumps yes but centrifugal no. It's possible GW...

    fuel tanks 265 express

Lots of variables. Where are you? Do you know if the tanks can be removed without cutting fiberglass or bulkheads? What size are the tanks? Changing all hoses? For that size GW and them doing all the work - $10,000. Tanks, hoses, miscellaneous parts are about $5,000.

Isinglass Replacement Cost - 307 Freedom

Try A&J Canvas in Vanceboro, NC (252) 244-1509 The did a lot of work for GW. Re-using the canvas frame isn't how I would do it. Even if its in good shape its a lot of work to get the glass out. The canvas gets damaged along the way and has to be repaired. Then sew back in where the old...

Bait tank pump constantly vapor locking when coming off of a plane if traveling over 25 knots. I have a 33 Express.

That's an engineers answer not a practical one. Problem is the high pressure on the clamshell will push water into the pump past the cheap seal. After that the pump is toast. I have also has boat sitting on the bottom at night in the slip sucking sand up damaging the seal and even eroding the...

Different boat and no problems with air locking the pump. What kind of pump and do you have a clamshell water pickup? I'm using the Rule DR47 1100 GPH pump. I have had pumps damaged by the water pressure from the clamshell pickup. Alter a lengthy process and discussions with Rule the engineers...

powering a GoPro off the boat battery?

I setup the battery pack for use on the tournament boat I fish on. They have a hardtop mount and a awning rail for the battery pack. The Max lens covers the area outside the cockpit and plenty back behind the boat. Cockpit anarchy is also covered. It would be best if it was up in the tower with...

powering a GoPro off the boat battery?

While you can buy a large SD card and record all day finding video you want is challenging. I use the Hindsight feature that records all day but only saves the last 30 seconds on the camera. powering a GoPro off the boat battery?

The GoPro camera uses a USB3 connection for power. This is 5VDC. You need a power supply to convert 12VDC to 5VDC. See part below. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNQ5JNWZ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_7&th=1 GoPro cameras that are externally powered may overheat if internal battery...

    2006 Bimini 306 windshield

There are a lot of OEM boat parts like that. GW orders a bunch for a model year and the manufacturer makes them. Someone call up 20 years later, the manufacturer doesn't have the license to make the part for you and you won't pay the price for a one-off build. Same with GW. I don't see anything...

    pulpit

Some high stress attachments like cleats, awning track, bow pulpits and swim platforms should be bedded. The constant stress of flexing can "work" parts loose with silicone. I would use 3M 4000. UV stable. Good adhesive properties. And these parts rarely need to be seperated. For things like...

Check kill switch lanyard clipped in. Make sure shift is in neutral. Clip volt meter to ground and small lug on engine starter solenoid. Turn key to start - should have +12 vdc on that lug. pulpit

Put a picture of your pulpit up. On my islander there were 4 large bolts that had to be unscrewed from inside the anchor locker. And then the rail hardware. Mine was held in with lots of silicone caulk. Go around the edges with a knife for score the caulk. Try lifting from the front first - use...
