I find this question to be interesting because I've heard the same thing about ideal rpm range for engine efficiency. It seems to me that if you make the same comparison to a car engine - the car engine runs on the freeway at about 2500 rpm. But on acceleration or downshifting going up a hill...

I may not be understanding your problem, but how much fuel is in the tank? When the fuel level gets real low, it is normal for the last bar showing to begin to blink.

What type of line are you using? I have tried many and settled on mega-plait line (versus 8-plait that didn't work for me). Regarding hanging up at the connection - it happens. But make sure it's not frayed and was done professionally to minimize the girth of the connection.

I've had a 22 lb. Delta on my 2003 Express on the West Coast. I have 50 ft of chain and 300 ft of line. Never had an issue, but you may have more extreme conditions. Can't answer the question on stress to your other components.

Boat US magazine had past articles on provisioning boats for cruising. Hopefully, you can access past issues.

Another place to look - check connections in and out of the water heater.

Replace with a well-sealed vinyl cap - it's due. Also, suggest taking a look at the 4 brass transom well tubes. If never addressed, they probably also need replacing. I used fiberglass tubing instead of the brass - I will never have to worry about brass corrosion.

I would think it's a loose/stripped hose clamp (most likely) or hose deterioration/cut. Can you loosen the clamp enough to pull of the hoses off at sink fixture connection and inspect/replace?

Not sure they're the same but my 2003 330 Express uses an Anco 31-22" wiper arm/blade. I bought replacement on Amazon.

Another thing that you may want to take a look at. There's a clamshell fitting on the starboard side of the hull that is the exit point for the head vent. There is a screen on that fitting that can clog up and prevent proper venting. I just poked out the screen and that cleared things up.

I guess I was lucky - mine lasted over 20 years (anyone want my CD collection :cool:). I upgraded so my grandkids could connect their phones - now they're happy!!

Agree with all the comments, especially having a lot of guidance on YouTube. Assuming you haven't done any maintenance since 2009, step up and replace toilet bowl seals and duck bill valves at a minimum - it's time! Also, suggest using factory Dometic parts - there are lesser cost substitutes...
