    Leaking fuel tanks 306 Bimini

Can consider if Poly tanks might be a solution for you. They won’t have the same capacity because it won’t be a custom fit. Perhaps the new tanks weren’t properly secured, and possibly moved while underway, causing stress on the welds?

    Tilt/trim

Did you try to refill the oil reservoir? I’m not sure that would be the answer since it seems to work with the switch on the outboard itself, but it’s a very simple first step to check. Often there is a plastic cap to remove (be careful not to strip it), and you fill with ATF, then raise and...

    232 Gulfstream w/twins no affliation

Wow… all I can say is wow… we need to get back to spring boating weather already, too much time for keyboards I guess. to chime in my worthless 2cents: 4-5 weeks in the winter for an expensive boat is not a long time at all to be listed. Thinking that a boat should sell in 2 weeks is not a...

    Covers without factory snaps

I see what you’re saying, the hole punch doesn’t tear through seams but rather pushes through and widens a hole through the seams?

    Covers without factory snaps

this is an excellent point and will prevent the sunbrella fabric seams/holes from fraying and coming apart by fusing the fabric together at the hole

    Tide Slide

Does the dock go up and down with the tide? If so lines are fine. If the dock is stationary and does not float with the tide, then yeah, lines would not be ideal since you would need slack in the lines for low tide and at high tide the boat would be all over the place with loose lines. Various...

    Covers without factory snaps

To prevent the gelcoat cracking, it helps to counter sink the hole. Start with a small pilot hole with a smaller bit. Then use the correct size bit for the hole (ideally with a drill guide to get perfectly perpendicular). Then use a much larger bit (like 1/2”) to relieve the hole and countersink...

    1999 Grady 272 Stringer Question

Save your survey money for a different boat, unless there is a steep discount, and like Hookup said, be prepared to redo the transom yourself or pay the labor to someone else if you do want the boat. Maybe you can find someone to do it a little cheaper in the winter. The boat likely needs...

    1994 252 Sailfish

Tougher sell without a trailer imho. I’d discount the price a bit. $2k would be minimum to find a used trailer.

    1994 252 Sailfish

$15k isn’t bad for a rig like that, but is that the listing price? Generally listing price is a starting point for negotiation. Go over the boat and its systems in detail, flip every switch, open every hatch, look in the bilge, open seacocks, etc. Anything that isn’t operational or needs...
