Question: Replacing wiper arm for 2012 335 Freedom - part #?

I've posted the parts manual a couple different times in various different threads. They've only got a few years of boat parts manuals on the RNR Marine website, and sadly don't have every single year. I think the most important question would be how long are the wiper arms that are currently on...

    306 Trolling Motor

Welcome? The OP has been on the site for over 20 years now. 6 messages, and all with the same message of "Welcome". Spam perhaps? To the OP... here's a link to a 306 Canyon for sale on Boat Trader, of which it has an electric trolling motor up on the bow. Looking at the stern of the boat, I'm...

    Everett / Seattle marine surveyor

I was going to say... I'm not sure if someone from PA would come all the way out to the Everett area without charging quite a bit extra, as you'd have to take a ferry each way as well as add a considerable amount of time to the trip before even inspecting the boat. Either way, glad you found a...

    Tidal Slip Equipment

Yikes... I wouldn't want my boat beached on the sand/rocks at all, and especially not twice a day for multiple hours at a time. My parents and I had a 17' Arima when I was growing up and we just had a buoy on the sandbar out in front of our beach cabin. At the time, my parents didn't want to...

Fisherman 257 Yamaha 300 Drive shaft length?

It appears as though the 257 Advance had a name change in the early 2010's era and then became the 257 Fisherman shortly thereafter. All of the specs appear to be the same from one boat to the other, though most of the newer brochures don't give the outboard shaft length for some reason. Which...

twin 17yr old yamaha 150s with olny 200hrs would you trust them???

The fact that the outboards have been serviced every year is a bit more reassuring as opposed to something that hasn't been serviced in years and years. Though, I'd still want to see receipts from the seller or business proving that those things have actually been done, as opposed to the seller...

    Tidal Slip Equipment

If I'm reading this correctly, you're saying that your boat will be beached for 2 hours every single day?

    Sign n glid

I've got Progressive's towing option on my insurance policy with as well, though I'm not sure if it's the sign and glide or not... I thought it was a Sea Tow membership, but I could be mistaken. I can't give any opinions on the matter as I've thankfully never had to use it yet, knock on wood.

    Google Ads

The $10 was well worth it just to get rid of the ads alone, not to mention it goes towards helping the website, which is great as well. Money well spent.

twin 17yr old yamaha 150s with olny 200hrs would you trust them???

First off, when you say the motors check out, what do you mean and who supposedly inspected the motors? The previous owner? A Yamaha tech? A surveyor? Yourself? Also, when were they last inspected? I'd have a surveyor or even yourself inspect the entire boat, including the outboards. Hopefully...

There's an option to use PayPal, which is what I just did.

    Everett / Seattle marine surveyor

It really just depends on the asking price for the boat, your ability or not to travel back east, cost of shipping, etc. I bought my 2004 Grady White 228 Seafarer back in late September of 2021 in Maryland for $26,500... when similar boats were selling, and have sold since then out here or...

Cross post Express 265 FS West coast

An asking price would help out tremendously, as well as I believe one is also required to post an ad for sale here on the site.

    Everett / Seattle marine surveyor

I too was looking for you on the east coast... of where you can oftentimes find a much better deal if you're willing to shop around, do the drive yourself or if you pay to have it shipped out her and the shipping costs aren't too bad or anything. Good luck with the search/surveyor on Wednesday...

2003 Grady 265 Express (Repowered) AVAILABLE AGAIN

Was that Matt Marshall from the other thread? I saw the boat on Boat Trader and was going to link it in my response on the other thread, but saw you had already done so. Congrats again!

    Model 300 mfd.s

This is an extremely vague question as Garmin MFD's come in all different sizes from 4"-5" on up to 27". The below linked boat, of which I have no affiliation with, has twin 12" displays on it and it appears to just barely fit. Why not just let us know which models/sizes you're considering going...

Just a heads up fellas... the OP doesn't appear to have been back to the site since posting over a month and a half ago. Not sure if that means that he's found a boat or not.

275 owners with twin 250s: how does it ride?

I'm not trying to push Mercury or anything, just trying to give a few options... that being said, I imagine the fuel economy thing has a bit to do with what you mentioned above in that I believe all Mercury 250's are going to be a v8, vs the Yamaha F250 which is a v6. So, I imagine that is where...
