    Hull value 2004 330 Express

Back in 2015 I bought a 2003, hull only for about $85k. My guess is about $100k?

2004 33 Express Cruiser Twin 2015 300 HP Yamaha VERY HARD STEERING

I bought mine in 2019 on Amazon for $1470 during our annual Massachusetts tax holiday! I had my marina install it and they put it in the transom area behind the generator. I was a little worried about corrosion there, but it seems to have held up great so far. It's also right next to my Garmin...

2004 33 Express Cruiser Twin 2015 300 HP Yamaha VERY HARD STEERING

My '03 330 had no assist pump, so I added one a few years ago -- very easy upgrade! It wasn't easy before, but I would not have described it as "very hard" so I suspect there is something wrong with your system or configuration as suggested above. I'd highly recommend the assist pump - works...

    330 Express Freshwater Washdown Hose

Just saw this... I was able to replace mine (2003 model) by only removing one small panel directly underneath. I replaced with a 10' plastic hose instead of the original metal jacketed one..

    Mounting radar on hardtop "hump"

My radar (330 Express) is where yours is, but I mounted a 20 inch single row LED lightbar on one side of the radar. It would have been nice to do it symmetrically, but functionally works just fine.

Lithium Battery & Airconditioning Setup on a Marlin 300

There are definitely folks out there who are successfully running AC's off an inverter system, and many are using lithium batteries for the inverter. The rough math is that for every 1,000 watts of 120V AC power you will need about 100 amps of 12V DC current. So if your air conditioner consumes...

    Seakeeper Ride Retrofit?

As I understand it the Seakeeper Ride is supposed to adjust the tabs very very quickly (they claim 100 times each second) in response to each individual wave. So it's actively forcing the bow down just at the moment the wave is trying to push it up. It also counters roll... Some folks are...

    Seakeeper Ride Retrofit?

Anyone considering retrofitting a the Seakeeper Ride system on their Grady? https://ride.seakeeper.com/ For those who haven't heard about it, this is *not* the original Seakeeper Gyro, but instead is basically a very active trim tab system that reacts to the waves to keep the boat at a constant...

    07 330 Express Bow Thruster

I emailed Imtra for various issues with my thruster (OEM on '03 330 Express) and they were very responsive & helpful. I ended up sending my unit to them in Bedford MA for servicing and they did a great job. I did the Q Prop upgrade -- I couldn't tell much difference to be honest, but I believe...

    Generator recommendation for 330 Express

Depending on how you use it, you might consider replacing with an inverter and Lithium Ion battery bank. I don't use much 110v power (no Air Con use) and I replaced my FP with a Mastervolt inverter + small battery bank for a small fraction of a new genset. Couldn't be happier! I'm certain this...

No error code? (i.e. the panel just powers itself off?)

Replacing transom fish box door on 03 express

I would think it would be relatively easy for a glass shop to fabricate for you. If you go that route, you might like to have them make a single hatch like the new ones. I ended up having both of my hatches permanently attached together to keep the rain out and make it seal better (also added a...

    GW 330 Express ROD HOLDERS

On my 2003, the factory holders are 30 degrees. I wouldn't recommend getting 15 or 30 degree swivel holders -- in my opinion they are pretty useless. I use a 0 degree with bent butt rods for giant tuna fishing. I only have one installed at the furthest back point on the starboard side, right...

    Horn

I put an Ongaro dual trumpet on the hard top. Mount it on a starboard block so you can point it downward to make it easier for water to drain. Use it at least once every trip! Also they use a lot of current so be sure it is properly grounded.

Fuel Select Switch - Express 330

Yes, the port-side fuel switch should control which tank (Main or Aux) the port motor pulls from and the starboard likewise. But, in my opinion, the switch is confusing because the long part of the handle points to the opposite tank, and there's a little arrow point sort of thing that actually...

Replacing generator with inverter on 330 Express

So I did a ton of research on this, and the issue is twofold: (1) some (but not all alternators) can burn out when supplying too much current. The issue is that they were designed to charge a lead-acid battery which will not accept the high level of current an lithium battery will. More...

Mounting Canister Life Raft on Older Grady T-top

That seems like a lot of weight for a life raft. How many people is that rated for? I have a 6 person valise raft that weighs about 70lbs. Also make sure you will be able to deploy from the top in rough seas, and don’t count on automatic deployment. Because of the positive floatation of small...

Any Experience with Catalano & Sons in CT

I purchased my ‘03 330 Express from them in 2016. It had been the service manager’s boat (one of the “sons” as I recall). They were great to work with!

330 Express hard top rocket launchers

I opted for adding 4 clamp on holders (2 to each side) to the aft hard top supports in between the factory ones. I'm 5-8 and I know there's no way I could reach rods on the hard top itself... I've seen some pics of a 33 express where the hard top rocket launchers are dropped down several inches...
