    Fischer Panda issue

Did you happen to see the impeller that was replaced? If it is an overheating issue, there could be some pieces stuck in the heat exchanger. That is if the impeller was in pieces when it was replaced. Generators have a habit of chewing up the impellers. Just a thought.

Gauge/rocker switch panel removal 305 express

That looks like quite a dilemma. It’s a long shot, but I would try carefully prying up the panel under the screws with a thin flat head screw driver. This will put up pressure jamming the nut in the cavity behind the panel. Then without pressing down too hard, try to loosen the phillips screw at...

    Stir crazy

Bulls are the most aggressive of all shark species and also they are the only ones that have the capability to store salt in a gland that enables them to live in fresh water also.

    Stir crazy

Yes. I stopped spear fishing immediately and headed to the boat forgetting all about my 10 ft decompression stop. Lol. My buddies said I jumped up onto the dive platform like a seal at sea world. I was glad I hadn’t shot any fish yet. Monster bull shark off of ft Myers area in 110ft of water.

Tired of squeezing the old balls...

The fuel restriction happens when the pumps are off. They should never be run while running the engine.

Tired of squeezing the old balls...

No. Switching between tanks it is not necessary. Only if you run the engine completely out of gas.

Tired of squeezing the old balls...

With Efi, exactly what wrx said. They are used mainly now to pump up carbureted motors before starting. Do not run them unless you change the fuel filter or drain the vapor separator tank for storage. I have seen in some cases where those type of pumps create a fuel restriction. IMHO for the 10...

Riding Out Isais in a Hurricane Hole

I agree that fully charged batteries are a must. I would also check the automatic bilges to be sure they are super reliable.

Lol. I wish. I can’t do what I used to do anymore. I’ve slowed down a lot in the past 10 years. I still eat right and stay active.

It can be a fight. Amber jack will almost pull your arm out of the socket if you don’t know what you are doing. Sometimes we have to cut their throats to get them under control. I am a little wiser in my old age. Lol. I don’t shoot the amberjack unless I have help. Gotta check for sharks first...

These grouper we get with hook and line anywhere from 70ft to about 180 ft. Depending on the time of year. I also spear them while scuba diving.

We cheat. Lol. We deep drop into 850 to 1000ft of water with an electric reel. We have special rigs with glow lanterns and glow rubber shrimp. Takes about 10 to 12 lbs of weight. Looks like a huge sabiki rig. His eyes suffered decompression from coming up from 875ft.

Kinda looks like a skinny version of the grouper that we catch here in fla. Lol.

Who is heading out this weekend?

Mini season was today and yesterday. The regular season opens in 2 weeks. You are allowed 6 lobsters per person per day. We had 6 anglers on the boat. We limited out both days. We have a few coral heads marked that load up every year. We were back at the dock by 11 am. We also find them on...
