I love my cabin boat. In rough water, rain, hot sun, etc. the hard top with enclosure is the way to go. I wash my rods down with fresh water and put them in the cabin on the way home. I live in south fla and fish the keys all year round.

Maybe a steel fastener under the glass is oozing out rust from moisture coming in the crack or from under the deck. When a screw rusts, sometimes it swells. May have created the crack due to swelling.

The slot on the right side between the sealer ring is the prime passage way. If it was blocked with sealer when the mechanic installed the o ring there, may stop the prime process.
