I have heard that about the 275. Same beam as the 235. Long and skinny and a bit tippy. If we do eventually upgrade it will most likely be the 285.

Resurrecting this old thread because my light is flashing. I accidentally put water in there as I was attempting to fill the fresh water tank, and ended up putting maybe a gallon or two into the holding tank through the suck-out hole (excuse my poor terminology) before I realized my error...

Yep. I don't have a problem with ads, but whatever setting has been applied to this forum needs to be dialed back. I have literally never seen a forum so flooded with huge-format ads.

Management should really reconsider the ads thing. I've never seen a forum with such aggressive ads. Sometimes it's hard to see where the threads are. If I was a new person looking for a Grady forum and this popped up I'd leave immediately. Wall to wall ads with little breaks in the middle...

All very good points. The 9'6" beam on the 285 and the twin 300s is the deal maker. The 275 just wouldn't be that much of a difference from the 235.

I am considering going from my 235 to a 275 and was wondering if there are any resources that diagram actual dimensions, not just overall length and beam. Would like to be able to compare the cockpits of both boats. My local dealership doesn't have any 275s right now so I can't go check one...

Interesting because a friend of mine who owns a 235 said when he was choosing between the 235 and the 255 he didn't notice any thing different other than the twin engines on the 255. Said the cockpit was the same size.

I don't fish, so I don't know if the platforms would impact anything. I just like to pull up to the sandbar and throw a cooler on the platform or just sit on the platform and watch the activities. Plus it makes washing the engine very easy. Turns my little 23' boat basically into a 26'...

I am currently looking to move up from my 235 to a 275. Have you spent much time on a 235 at all? Was wondering if the cockpit is significantly bigger on the 275. My dealership doesn't have any right now and won't for a couple months.

I would not get a 255 with a single 300. I have the 235 with a single 300 and I wish it was a 350 (it's a tad underpowered at 300). If you want the 255 get the twin 200s. Plus, with the 255 you don't have the swim platforms which is my favorite feature on the 235. 255 with a single 300 makes...
