    New steering wheel

I found one on some parts website. Don't know if it was the GW version, but it was $600! That can't be right for a steering wheel.

    New steering wheel

Anyone have a part number or know where I can find this steering wheel? Mine is just basic SS. My buddy has this with the rubber inserts on his new Coastal Explorer.

Is there a way to adjust the windlass speed?

It seemed fast because it always got hung up if I held the button for too long. I have to use short, quick bursts of maybe 4-5 seconds.

Is there a way to adjust the windlass speed?

Knocking the pile down helped a lot this weekend. Thanks for the tip!

Is there a way to adjust the windlass speed?

I can see how the pile could be the problem. I does seem to be stacked up higher than when the boat was brand new. I definitely have too much line for my needs. Not sure how much line I have, but so far all of my anchoring has been in 3' or less water.

Is there a way to adjust the windlass speed?

It's whatever new Grady's come with.

Is there a way to adjust the windlass speed?

When bringing my anchor up, every time it gets clogged up. It comes up too fast. Have to bring the anchor up in short bursts. The windlass moves so fast that gravity just can't keep up. Plus, it always gets hung up when it gets to the knot (I know there's a term for where the chain and line...

Filling marine head reservoir, 2024 Freedom 235

I've had my 235 for over a year and still don't know how to use the head. Nothing online, nothing in the paperwork...you would think there would be detailed step by step instructions in the Capt Grady app. It's like it's a secret or something.

When does a repower not make economic sense?

So the original owner had Evinrudes installed new? That alone will effect resale, even if they work just fine. But still not cost effective to repower.
  10. FREEDOM!!!

When does a repower not make economic sense?

How did you end up with Evinrude engines on a late model Grady? If you are planning to upgrade the boat in a couple of years, it wouldn't make sense to repower. Just fix your current engines up as best you can and sell the whole thing. Trade it in at the dealership on a newer Grady and let it...

    With all due respect

I pray to God that I never have to replace a battery on my Freedom. They are in just about the most impossible to reach location possible. That tiny little hatch was not very well designed.

    Mystery Badge?

That would make a cool beltbuckle. Maybe figure out a way to mount that on the steering wheel hub.

    Custom Captain

I just did this one. You can add things like sunsets and people. I had them add the Blue Angels in the background since I'm in Pensacola.

    Engine flush quick connect

I get a much stronger stream going straight into the engine instead of the quick connect.

    New Freedom 275 Owner

Oh well, you are going to love the boat! Nothing rides like a Grady.

    New Freedom 275 Owner

Is it too late to get the 200s? $10K on a new Grady is chump change. I think you will regret not getting bigger engines more than you would have regretted spending an extra $10K on a $250K+ boat. You won't miss that $10K a year from now...but you will always wish you had bigger engines.

    PSA: check your anchor bolt

Yep. This could have been bad as I was running about 30mph right before dropping anchor. Best case would be you lose an expensive anchor...worst case is it fall off at speed and smashes into the hull and lower unit. I'm wondering if I should get a longer safety cable and clip it to the anchor...

    Engine flush quick connect

Was it the part you screw on the hose or the input on the boat that was bad?

    PSA: check your anchor bolt

I'm just going to take the pin out and use it on the old swivel, then keep the rest of the new swivel in my boat tool box just in case I have another issue.
