Outriggers on a 275 Freedom. Where do you connect the halyards?

My needs are a little different. We don't sailfish or use a sea anchor. While trolling we have never really needed to go to the bow. If drifting and using the outriggers they are usually kept straight back so you could theoretically walk around the halyard.

Outriggers on a 275 Freedom. Where do you connect the halyards?

I have an express and go to the bow often. When the outriggers are not deployed the halyards are attached to the the rocket launcher on the hardtop and are completely out of the way. When the outriggers are deployed the halyards drop down and the bungee cord pully system is attached to the...

My hardtop mounted rigger halyards are attached to the rocket launcher when running and not in use. They stay out of the way this way. When deployed the attach low down on the hardtop leg.

    Cup Holder Hose

Not Sure about your boat, but all of my cup holders drain via an outlet to the deck. Both the cupholders in the helm area and the cockpit are plumbed this way.

    330 Express Deck Drain Hoses

Did you contact Boats Inc. in Niantic? They are the local Grady dealer for you. I have to believe they have done this before. The service department has been very helpful and offered advice whenever I have reached out.

282 Sailfish - Water in fuel!?!?

You need to fully pump the tank out. Get a fuel pump, pull the sender and pump everything out of the tank. By pumping through the fuel hose, you are leaving all the crap in the bottom of the tank.

    Cup holder/ rod holder ?

When replacing cup holders, I have found most are standardized and the same size. If replacing with a combo cup/rod holder you will need access to the back to make sure you have room for the holder, to through bolt and for drainage. As far as a middle gunnel rod holder go 15 degree and angle...

    What color Starboard

Seafoam is a close match to original grady color. However, I think the contrast of a black dash looks better.

Buying a Grady White 222 Fisherman

Have the boat surveyed. The hull is approaching 25 years old. At that age you are at the expected life span of things like fuel tanks, fuel lines and hoses including scupper hoses. As far as the engine goes 1000hrs if maintained is nothing for these engines. If service records are...
