Thanks! I looked at the Yamaha website and figured they were the same. Yamaha only showed the 150 HPDI unless I selected the wrong tab. 48 mph, alright! I might hit 40 now with my Islander now that I upgraded to a Suzuki 300.

I think galvanized is cheaper but aluminum lasts longer in the salt, hence the greater propensity to see them here in FL.

What are you towing with? That's a lot of extra weight to be dragging around. I need to go with an aluminum bunk for my Islander since it will save 800 lbs on towing capacity. For the 180 Sportsman, it keeps me under the limit on the Murano and under the limit for which FL requires brakes.

Just finishing up my boat and need to make sure I have the right prop as the engine was on a different boat, though about the same weight. I'll check the pitch but its a black Yamaha SS prop. Anyone have an F150 on a Sportsman? If so, what pitch prop do you have? Thanks Greg

Dan will be starting it tomorrow, said it should be done by Friday. He worked on my Islander for 5 years until I repowered with the Suzuki 300, then I brought it to NC.

Might be a code on them that you can call either a locksmith or the MFG and have a key sent.

It was a distress sale, so it was well below NADA. Engine is good, just wanted a 4 stroke and with a little horse trading, the upgrade to a used F150 with warranty will be around $2k.
