That Toilet Plunger thing is called a "Fake a Lake" I have used it for the last 3 years for my Raw Water Washdown, Live Well, AC and Generator. It works perfectly. I got mine at Boater's World. I believe they are about $30-40.

Simple Green works great. And a little overspray on the plastic won't harm it. I have been using it on my Ivory Canvas for 3 years now and it still looks new.

I have a 2006 with F250 and the most I have ever gotten out it is 41 MPH. So I think you are in the right range with your set up.

I give mine a good cleaning too. Then leave them in place right where they are. (The boat get shrink wrapped) Been doing this with my boats for many years and have never had an issue.

Try this.... Get on your knees and look under the gunnel on the starboard side as far back aft as you can. There should be a breaker there. Check it to see if it tripped. If so, just reset it. It would sure beat a service call!
