On my Seafarer I get the zippers started, then do the snaps, then finish the zippers. There is too much tension to do the snaps if the zippers are completely shut.

Yes. I have the Taco 15 ft telescoping poles. I believe they are the smaller 1 1/4 diameter. They've worked very well for me. By having the outriggers set up on the gunnel, they are very easy to manage.

I think this is the one JiminGA is referring to. Reasonably priced and long lasting. I think the one I got is the 26 ft version (I've had it for 6 years so I don't recall) so it fits over the motor.

The ramp in Coco Plum should be able to handle it easily. There's a fee but it's only a couple dollars. I'll see if I can find the info on it.

The direct replacement for my transom shower was from Scandvik. A quick search should turn up lots of options for you. I know Defender carries Scandvik as do others such as Jamestown Distributors. But yes, I think you will need to order the full assembly.

You can get the switches at Digi-Key. The switch for the dome light with red and clear bulbs is #522PB-ND. The one for the spreader lights is #512PB-ND. That is assuming you have the same switches as I do on my 228. If your fresh water sink uses the same assembly as my fresh water wash down...

I use the hanging DampRid bag (the one designed to hang in a closet). Fairly inexpensive, works for a month or so and smells great.

That's the tool I use and I love it. The problem comes from the snaps corroding. Snap lube seems to help.
