My 228 has them. Good for storing lines but they get wet and fill with water when it rains.

Good idea but I just use a 2 way valve on my garden hose when I'm cleaning up at the end of the day. One side flushing the engine while I hose the boat with the other side keeps it flushing for at least a half hour.
