With a soft bottom roll up inflatable i have done a few longer runs (13-15 mi) at slow cruise speed mid 20's. I took the engine off and the dingy tracked well behind the boat.

My hard bottom inflatable I will tilt the engine up(15hp). That being said a couple of time we got hit with a big wake and the engine dropped. Didn't make a big difference. If I'm towing the hard bottom its usually just to a local island a couple miles away and at slow speeds.

The rear fish box on your 306 is probably similar to the fish box on my 305. Its fairly well insulated and will hold a TON of ice. If you pack it full of ice it will be for fine 12+ hours offshore. I also throw some large frozen water bottles in to help keep it cold.

You will still need to go up to the bow to release and attach the safety clip. Additionally you will need to cleat off the anchor line/rode when setting and pulling the anchor. I cannot tell from the picture, Where do you plan on cleating it off?

Probably a second VHF and/or AIS. How many VHF radios are there? if there is 2 then you have your answer.

You never mentioned conditions and bottom where you anchor which may change things. Go up to the 22 lbs. Delta. Thats What I have on my 305. You have a windless go with as much chain as you can.

What did the fiberglass guy recommend after getting the moisture readings? I would remove the drain tubes and have a look. They probably should be replaced at this point anyway.
