    Electric boat trailer winch

unless you are physically unable to hand winch, i would stick with that. the simplicity and reliability of a hand winch makes it the clear winner in my book

New Grady debut at the end of the month. Big, little, or in-between?

we use our cc primarily for family cruising. two years in and havent fished once yet. me, wife, and two young daughters. we never feel separated as there is no full windshield dividing the front from the back and we can seat all 4 in the back (and another 2 with bean bags), we have enough...

Trim Tabs for a boat that never had them

ive never heard of water leaking into the bilge through trim tab screw holes, thats pretty much a non-risk. the risk with a poor installation is water getting inside the transom. pick the style that performs the way you want, install it correctly, and dont worry about it.

    Aluminum fuel tank

im sure that if the insurance company knew, they would not cover you. if you ever sell the boat, the surveyor would document that. by regulation, they do have to be USCG certified which does include a pressure test. maybe you could buy the material from your local tank shop, build the tank...

probably a bit far, but Argentinos out of Havre de Grace does mobile service. you may get more responses if you go on face book and ask on the Upper Chesapeake Bay Recreational Boaters page.
