I went with 86xx garmin. I have a friend who is outfitting a much bigger boat and he has seen the Gramin 9000 stuff, it's much faster. If you have the budget, go there. The 9000s are 4k. For radio, I'm standard horizon but my buddy has Garmin, Garmin is better. Less static, just better.

I think used ones go for around $5K so I think you did fine. My pilot house was a lot more but I wanted it to last. Just the paint was $11K.

I'll be pulling mine out of my 2020 228 because I put on a pilot house and I want the motors that can do the bigger wipers. So mine will be for sale in the next few weeks.

Give the deckadence a try, it's like the whole boat has anti-fatigue matting. It's great. It was about $1300 to do my boat vs a quote for $7000 to do seadek and I like the carpet better than seadek, it's easier to clean.
