Went on another boat out to Shark River Reef. Caught a mess of very nice sized sea bass and porgies. Gonna blow for 5 days. Hopefully the stripers turn on and move down to Manasquan next week. Really want to get done and wrap up while its reasonably warm.

I hear the yellowfin are gone from the bacardi/ 40 Fathom line after the storm. Today there was a full blown striper blitz at shrewsbury rocks. I just need the right weather on the right day... probably get out there Thursday or Friday morning

I don't remember the yamahas but my zukes WILL hold rain water in the prop hub if you leave them up. I put them down all winter and remove the props

Seabass is on fire out at Shark River reef. Limit is 10pp @ 12.5”. First Rock pile wasn’t great so went to my favorite wreck. 60 keepers in two hours with some 18+” in there

The grommet (well nut) has a machine thread ..no?

Assuming the holes in the frame were drilled right, the only thread is at the nut. It is not threaded into the frame. yes sure, WD40 or the like.... Use a wrench (probably 7/16 on a 1/4-20 screw?)remove the acorn nut and then the nut. Hold the screw with a size 3 phillips. you might have to tap...

it doesn't look like the other end of the oem yamaha isolator cable 69J-81949-00-00. I don't have yammies anymore so I can't check.
