    Sea Deck

Not sure if you've had a chance to try it out Skunk, but was wondering how you like it so far? Where did you get the decking at? Amazon?

    265 first ocean run

The one thing I was going to ask about on the tabs, seems like they don't come all the way up on one side of the tab on each side. One side of the tab sits flush with the bottom of the hull, the other side is down just slightly. It's not below the hull bottom, but not all the way up. I'll take...

    265 first ocean run

I'd been researching and reading about 265s for 4-5 years before I finally bought mine. I've read numerous threads about the 265 traits in following seas that I should have known what to expect, but I guess until you actually experience it, you just never know. I'm sure it's going to just take...

    265 first ocean run

I will say it is definitely a nicer ride than my previous North River aluminum boat. Even the guys I normally fish with were making comments. It was pretty sloppy on the way out to the halibut grounds, and they were saying if it was the old boat, we would have got beat up on the way out.

    265 first ocean run

Yeah, I did a single 12" flush mounted in front and put a 9" up in the top .

    265 first ocean run

Exactly! That's what it feels like! I've got an old Simrad, I believe an AP11? I think I need to go through the calibration process on it since the repower. I turned it on a few weeks ago, and was getting an error message. But I'm looking at getting a new Raymarine AP to tie in the my...

    265 first ocean run

I had filled both tanks just the week before I took my boat in for a repower. I had only put 6 hrs on the motors up until yesterday. I was running both valves on Aux. After the port side motor stalled, I only switched the port side valve to main and it started right back up. I left the...

    265 first ocean run

Definitely wasn't out of fuel as the starboard motor was still running on the aux tank. since each motor has its own switch valve. Only switched the valve on the port motor which stalled

    265 first ocean run

Well, finally got the 265 out in the ocean yesterday for some halibut fishing. The ride is definitely smoother than my aluminum Northriver that I owned previously from a sea chop standpoint. Looking for some input from other 265 owners. The boat is definitely very sensitive to weight...

What have you done to your Grady lately?

Nice! Is that just a door on the step, or is it a compartment? Where did you get it from?

    Low battery voltage

No, hadn't disconnected anything. Has been hooked up to a charger when not in use. Checked all connections, all look good. Also checked the white wire fuses and those are good. I'll try changing the switch positions to see if the starboard motor starts, but as it was, but switches were on...

    Low battery voltage

I changed my fuel filters today. Afterwards went to start them, starboard started just fine, port side is giving me the low voltage warning and reading 0 volts on the SMG4. Checked voltages at all batteries, all reading 12.8v. Any ideas? 2022 DF200APX

What have you done to your Grady lately?

Sounds too familiar, though mine has included a lot of compounding and polishing.

what model year Freedom 285 & other questions

250's won't necessarily get you better fuel economy, as it can take more throttle to get on plane or if you're weighted down. Radar will be for navigation if you are running at night or in limited visibility.

Found these. I think these will work nice since they are adjustable...

    Rod adapters

We typically troll for Chinook, coho, and albacore. Rod tips are typically at the angle of the picture Skunk posted in the port side rear.

    Rod adapters

I'll look into the outrodders. Looks like that be the way to go. Skunk, in your picture, your port side rear with the bent butt is the exact angle I'm looking for off of the holders. But with a straight butt rod.
