I have a pair of 2001’s with 880 hrs. Just completely serviced, all new filters, VST cleaned , injectors sent out and cleaned. Starboard runs great, but port just lost compression in Cyl 1. Looks like a hole in the cylinder from the borescope pics I took. Make me an offer , I am in VA

So, just found out one of my 01 200 HPDI’s has low compression on Cylinder 1 . Scoped it and looks like corrosion thru the cylinder wall . Be glad to post a pic. 880 hours and was running like a scalded dog right up until it wasn’t. Std motor is fine I know some of you guys are running 200...

There was an older Marlin for sale a while back and it had been repowered with twin 425’s Think it was in MD. Have you seen one of those motors in person? There are huge.

I am running 3 blades and get about 14 GPH at 3800, 24ish knots. Looking for some stern lift since everyone is always in the cockpit when running

I have that set up with 3 blades. Looking at 4 blades, did you notice any improvement with the 4 blades?

Trailering a 265 is a chore. Really need a 3/4 ton. She’s a plus sized model for sure. Just dragging mine around town for service, gas, etc is a challenge, but doable. Love mine.

Love to find some new labels for my 265, anyone know where to find something similar to the original?

If you’re missing the black metal frame part as well as the glass it makes it a little trickier, the metal piece ( I think it’s called an extrusion) is hard to find. I ended up getting mine from Marine Glass Specialties in FL. He has the OEM GW extrusions. He probably has done a Sailfish before...

The only bad thing I’ve heard about them is the year plus wait! They would be awesome on my 265 Express.

OP- off topic but how do you like those new Merc’s? I hear great things about them ( other than the 53 week lead time currently). Would be a perfect match for my 265 Express.
