Went to check if there was water in my pod and the plug failed, called Grady and the bracket manufacture is out of business and they don't have any replacement parts, Was thinking of drilling and tapping and installing a plastic plug. Seem to be getting a bit of water in the bracket was also...

For a 228 an option-- is HEAD- portable w/deck pump out vs. head-portable w/inline macerator , WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE and IS ONE BETTER THAN THE OTHER. Im assuming both are plumbed out side of the boat.

Looking to purchase a 228 and I found a 1999 model with a 250 4 stroke , with the extra weight it must change the way the boat sits in the water , I would assume scuppers are an issue, I talked with Grady and the said to address this issue they repositioned the fuel tanks and raised the scuppers...

Thanks I don't know about 4 years i do no some one in From Florida looked at it ,but I do know it has been run in a while had mech chech and as typical with 0x66 Yamaha's that sit for awhile the fuel pump was seized. Do you know these people, any info would be great haven't paid for any thing...
