Glass the transom. If it is bulging, you have moisture in it. Get it fixed and glassed. Done right, this is by far the best solution. As for the Hondas, I'd be concerned about weight addition more than position. My 2 pennies....

Thanks. I wanted something with more pop than the stogy brown twead and after 19 years it was time. Really not that bad of a job at all. Getting some of the cushions in the covers was tricky but not too bad. If we stayed on the boat, I'd opt for a thick over mattress, but those days are over.

Aft cushion set.

Got this done this past week. Aft cabin 3 cushions and V-birth 4 cushions. Got the 2 curtains to go... I reused the cushions and backside with the zippers. Pretty easy to knock off. $120 for the fabric, had the sail thread and wife did the sewing.

I have not but the newer design hatch allows the space to be used more easily.

IMHO it's a coin flip if they check out prior. I don't think folks here are going to make you sleep or not sleep well at night. If the deal is right, I'd take the chance. If the seller has adjusted the price up because of low hours, I'd push back and counter. It could work out very well or not.

I went with tan caps. There is a clear plastic washer that goes under the screw head and the colored cover just snaps on.

I agree with the size comment. The ones I've seen usually have a 25' or so limit. They swing the boats around like parking a car with those large forklifts. I think the 330 is a tad big for that type of storage but if they have the equipment it can be done.

All GWs are built all pretty much the subpar same. The vinyl cap is there to dress up (hide) the seam between the liner and the hull. The side plastic pieces are there to do the same in for the motorwell corners. All are attached with screws into the core which is likely XL Greenwood or maybe...

Prob the biggest concern is handling damage. Your not going to be notified unless it is more than a surface scratch or gouge. The staff are trained but they are usually young and the turnover is high. I'd talk with folks that keep their boats this way and get the pro/cons.

The stock ones mount on the hard top via 3 welded plates. I'm sure you could review them at a GW dealer yard and adjust the length of the plate. Stay away from welding to the frame if you can. Usually power wires inside for the radio box and also electronic cables may be routed for radar...

Will there be anything above you? I;ve seen 3 high in our area. The bottom boats get all the drippings from the ones above. I'd investigate some type of easy to install cover if you find yourself in that position.
