I'm sorry you had that experience. It must have been a very disappointing first day after committing to such a big investment. I would return the boat to the dealer for a thorough evaluation at their expense.

Thinking about buying a used Freedom 275 with a single Yamaha F350. Will it be enough power? Will the boat pop up on plane, cruise at 30+, and top out at 45+? I remember that moving from a 225 to a 250 on my Pursuit 2470 made a difference. I would hate to buy a Grady and feel like it was...

@lyncha00 how did things work out with your boat? I'm also thinking of buying a 275 with a single F350 but would want a higher top end than 40 MPH.
