    Bottom Paint

Hey Trapper I contracted “Gale Force” a guy out of NJ who covers Md. Pa. De and NJ. He does soda blasting and did a great job. $60 per foot 1800 bucks total and worth every penny of it. Took off all the old paint and hazed the gel. I can’t imagine trying to sand it or use chemicals.

    Bottom Paint

Currently in the process of doing our Marlin. It had an “Earl Shives” bottom paint job. ( quick scuff and ablative). Which I had blasted off. Fortunately it hadn’t been there too long as the previous owner had it done recently so the bottom was in great shape. We’re going to barrier coat with...

Grady White Marlin Dash Panel needed

My Guy is having a panel done for another boat where they took 1/4” aluminum and did the cut outs . He sent it out after fitting to have it dipped to exhibit a carbon fiber look. Going to let them guinea pig it to see the outcome first then maybe go that way.

    New Llebroc seat installed

I purchased the Marlin used this past October and it was outfitted with a Llebroc Marlin helm chair and the Bench seat was on the passenger side. We preferred the helm chair to match so we ordered a matching chair and pedestal. The pedestal at the helm station was an adjustable type and it's...

    New Llebroc seat installed

I had llebroc send a few color samples before choosing. The Gal there thought Voyager Sand was GW color. However my helm pilot was aftermarket from previous owner. I wanted an exact match thus the samples. Voyager Sand and Stinger Cream are very similar with Stinger just a whisker darker ...

    New Llebroc seat installed

Has an opportunity to remove the bench seat and install a new llebroc “Marlin” helm chair to match the pilot. Purchased the 12” (height) pedastal and had 3” cut off. Visibility is great from seated position vs the bench and frees up a little space on that side too. Awesome product.

To generate or not to generate

If you can afford it I'd buy it. Comes in real handy when you need it, especially on those hot days. When buying a used boat it was a must for me. Resale wise you may not recoup your money but will certainly increase the size of the audience of prospective buyers. I never had a buyer walk away...

What are you paying for insurance?

Just an FYI ... when the policy has a limitation on offshore travel IE. 75 nm Check with the insurer and ask. That should mean 75 nm straight out from the nearest land mass, not necessarily from the port. Occasionally we run to the Norfolk which is 80 plus from OCMD however we are still within...

What are you paying for insurance?

Where are you located Drew ? That premium is quite high for that rating unit and coverage. Are you the only listed driver ?
