Hi, A friend was cleaning out his garage and came upon three older GW factory rod holders. $150 for the three. I think they are 15 degree. I can't get pics to post. I can email pics to anyone who is interested.

FWIW I have factory installed (not zero degree; maybe 15*) on the bow of my 2018 306 Canyon. I almost never use them.

I was surpsied that Edgewater and Everglades eliminated it from their lineups. I could have seen it being popular in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic here in the US. Ironically, Axopar and similar have become very popular.. I think if there were removable hard panels, it would be more popular...

I agree with contacting GW. Note: GW added a side door to the 306, which means the seat is smaller in 306s with the side door. Make sure you order the correct size/version.

Does your 307 ever feel a little tight? If so, then the 285 is going to seem to feel small. Do you think the 307 can do anything (sea conditions wise) that the 285 can't? If so, then the 285 is going to seem too small. Is the NJ boat going to be used differently than the FL boat? I ask...
