Has a marine plywood core and stringers. Greenwood not used until later in GW boats. That is a big job for sure.

More than I would thought it would be. I like the weight reduction for sure. How do you use the boat? If you ok with the lower performance and better price point, the weight reduction is the way to go. In my case, I'd go for the 200s. but you may want the extra ponies.

See if they will haul it out and set it bow up to drain out. Then wash the entire hull out.

It's a nice day boat if that is your thing. You can sit a small village on that thing.

Go with the 225s. Its the weight more than the HP for the transom.

It will likely fade overtime like the original. I'd be inclined to leave as is and see if it fades to match.

I agree, in this market you have to have the boat looking good and the more pics the better to get eyeballs on her.

Agree with the market comments. Dealers will be slow to discount. Keep your eyes out for a late model used boat or maybe a non-current new one at a dealer if things really slow down.

I like the idea of trying smaller head screws. If that doesn't work, I'd probably minimally glue it.
