I agree with Parthery on the tabs. I don't have them and I get a bit of a lean to port when on plane. I attribute this to prop torque as I can nearly level the boat with the engine trim, but not quite. I usually have a buddy stand to starboard of the console and then we're level.

I have kept my extinguisher in a box in the console, but trying to think of where to mount it to save space. Mine is a 99, I see newer models actually have an indent in the console on the starboard side for this. Anyone mount one on the inside of the console door? If so how? Thanks!

For me the question is really about new vs. used. I am planning to make a significant jump in the coming year or two into a Marlin class boat. But with so many later models on the used market, I don't see how I could justify going new. I just don't see the value.

I think its a new hull. The profile of the liner to hull connection is not the same as the 232.

I have a 99 with a 130HP SWS 2S. To me its a great match. Plenty of speed and power without the weight of the 4S. There is no reason the hull should not be in great condition and should meet all of your needs. I think a 100HP will be greatly underpowered, but try it and see. One of the...
