It would help if you added some info about the engines. I had twin 2007 F250's on a boat and they did not have exhaust issues. There was a cutoff in late 2006/2007 models where the issue was improved. My engines had 500+ hours with no exhaust issues.

One easy fix is to let out all the line with nothing on it and let it untwist. You can drag it behind the boat if you're in a secluded area. But 8 plait is also a good idea.

I can get the screw out easily. I just can’t get the anode to budge after the screw is out. It’s corroded to the mount.

Grady recommends DEKA 27M6 batteries. They’re available as Duracell brand at Batteries Plus. Also available at “Worst Marine“ private labeled but more expensive.
