i got mine from Atlantic Coastal Welding in NJ. they did a great job. they do a lot of shipping. when i was there, they had some going to the west coast, and i think one to hawaii

it will be hard to match. the best result would be to have a glass/gel guy mix color and to match your boat as it is now after years of exposure. it may cost a bit more but will provide the best results.

i have the same issue with my Chase on my trailer. the wing on the tab is messing up the end of the wooden bunk. since the wood is taking the damage, i havent worried about it too much, ill just replace the bunks a bit sooner than i would have.

that is alarmingly terrible. what are the specs for your prop (diameter and pitch)? i think there is a good chance you have a spun hub or a horribly mis-matched prop for your boat look at post 3 on this thread, his numbers are quite a bit better than yours...

even thought the chesapeake bay is obviously a bay, i wouldnt suggest a "bay" boat. it actually can be a very rough body of water and get rough very quickly. id be concerned that the coastal explorer would pound in our short period chop.
