Water dripping in at planing speed

Suggestion... before we start repeating ourselves with what any of us might have said already... delete this thread and go back to your original one. In your response on your original thread, note what suggestions that were given turned out not to be the issue. Be descriptive and definitive...

1999 seafarer freshwater washdown station location?

Wow, a bit rude with your response, huh? The questions were meant as a guidance to try and help. But here's an obvious statement that apparently eluded you... look for it when you go see the boat! What does it matter if you know where it is ahead of time? Are you worried about your ability...

1999 seafarer freshwater washdown station location?

Does the boat in question actually have that option? What does the seller say?

What does this do … I’m stumped

Probably not a good idea to admonish people for trying to help. It's not like you're paying them - people are taking their own, hard-earned, spare time to try and help. Sometimes things get missed... like the question recently asked :)

What does this do … I’m stumped

Curious... what is the movement of the paddle switch like? Is it "on/off" or is it infinitely adjustable within it's range of motion?

    Boat Mover

Try U ship -- I've known a few people that have used them and were happy.

2001 Grady 265 scupper reposition height

Check TH Marine for hatches - they usually have a nice selection. Nice company, too -- they make some of their own things - not sure about the hatches, though.

    Trailering

But no spark plugs :) It's all relative, and there is a bit more maintenance - but in the grand scheme of things, it's minimal. Besides... once you trailer with a diesel, you'll never go back to a gasser! So much more power - and noticeably better fuel economy. Although that economy is...

    Shifter cable length?

Look at both ends if you need to. Or send a chase wire and then measure that.

    Shifter cable length?

Typically, the lengths are printed on the cable. Do the throttle cable, too.

Did you try the sources mentioned above and/or read each post? Good info up there that might be the solution.

What does this do … I’m stumped

It looks like some type of mechanical control (cables) for maybe sliding the chair? Follow the cables and it should tell you the function.

Bracket Plug for 1999 Tournament 223

The pics are quite fuzzy and dark - it's hard to see what you're referring to. But, assuming I have an idea as to what you mean... the remaning piece is plastic, right? You can tap it out with a screwdriver and a hammer... heat up/jam a wide screwdriver or chisel into it... any number of...

What am I looking at? Gulfstream 232

The OX's lift pumps have a finite lifespan because of being made out of a thin rubber diagphram. Generally, an electric lift pump is more reliable. That said, I've neve personally seen an electric fuel pump that looks like that - not to say that I've seen everything, though. But I'm curious...

2001 Grady 265 scupper reposition height

Have you had the boat since new? That's really, really odd, you know? But stainless CAN rust overtime - especially when left in very wet environments. Stainless only "stains less" than other metals.

Grady White 336 Canyon with Seakeeper 3 - Bottom Paint Line

I would think you could get a diagram from Grady. I know some manufacturers can provide this, anyways. If you end up not 100% sure... You can always come back and add more!

    Bow rail hinge question

While I haven't used that specific fitting, I've done plenty of rail fittings using the set screws and it's basically the same thing. It's not uncommon for OEM to build bow rails that way, either.

2001 Grady 265 scupper reposition height

How far below the cockpit floor are they currently? The absolute closest you could go to the floor BOTTOM is determined by the scupper hose, fitting, and access. The hose is roughly 2" OD. So that's your bare minimum - although that would be really tight. Better to go a little further and...
