I found out my dilemma... The drain plug is 1/2 inch but it is a drain plug with a drain plug inside it, which is a smaller diameter. I removed the 1/2 inch with the whole and put a normal 1/2 inch and now I'm in business. Thanks for all the advice.

I measured my drain plug and the whole is about 1/2 inch. I bought 1/2 inch but they are to big. Does any one have a boat like this and know what size drain plug to use. I know this sounds crazy but I'm not sure on how to measure the whole and which drain plug to buy. Thanks for any help!

I recently purchased a 1992 Seafarer 22. The windshield has many stickers on it that have faded and need to be taken off. Does anyone know if this boats windshield is Plexiglas or glass? I don't want to use a chemical that would damage the Plexiglas but I can't tell if it is real glass or not...

I am refitting my 1992 GW Seafarer 22 with a new motor. The sales guy tried to sell me a Suzuki 225 saying that my current 1992 Yamaha 200 has more horse power than a new Suzuki 200. He did say I would have no problem getting up on plain with a 200, but I'm curious about this horse power thing...

Other than my GW, I have a 21 foot bay boat that doesn't have trim tabs. I am constantly asking my wife to sit on a particular side to event the boat out. I figured if I ran into the same thing, I could use Trim Tabs on my GW. That is why the question was asked.

I’m going to be looking at a 1993 GW Seafarer 228 and was hoping I could get feedback on what to look for. I’m not to concerned about the engine because I have plans to refit it, though the owner says it run solid. It too is 1993 Yamaha 200 two stroke. I don’t know how many hours are on it.
