    Changing Running Light Bulbs

If it hasn't been taken apart in a while its probably just stuck. The plastic lens fits into the housing and will need to be removed to get to the bulb. You will need to be careful not to break the lens. As a side note, these are two part lenses that fit together. When you get the bulb out...

    Custom Bench Seat

Take a look at the Gulfstream. I has a fold up bench seat. If she needs to lay flat I don't think it's long enough.

    228 seafarer questions

I've found 225 to be plenty of power. I can top out around 42-43 mph depending on the weather conditions, load, etc. but cruise around 30 mph at 4200 RPM. We don't do a lot of water sports but haven't had any problem getting skiers up quickly.

What is attached to the bottom of this Seafarer??

The engine on a 228 will be bracketed and a 226 will have a standard transom mount.

New Design and Forum Software Upgrade

I like the changes that you've made to the new site but I'm still having problems staying logged in when I exit and return to the site. A larger font would be helpful to my aging eyes if possible.

    Roosterfish -- Costa Rica

Here's a couple of photos from an inshore trip taken from Los Suenos Resort in Costa Rica. First time rooster for me. Kind of like the fight you would get in an Amberjack of this size. Lots of fun with great scenery and a terrific crew. Wish we had these in S.C.

    Cockpit bolsters.

The only experience I've had with the vinyl paint was on the interior of a door on an old pickup I used to own. At first it looked better than before but didn't take long for it to begin peeling. I can't imagine that it would stand up to marine conditions but I could be wrong. If it were...

    Spots on deck

I've found the Mr Clean Eraser sponges work pretty well on some of these types of stains. I just make sure and rinse it well and use Woody Wax to protect.

    Going to the Keys

That sure would be nice to have a short run to the fish. I haven't been able to get out for the past couple of weeks but hope to get after some Kings or Wahoo sometime during the summer too.

    Yamaha SX250 Overheating, Again!

You might check your poppet valve also. I would probably do a Salt-Free treatment to make sure everything is cleared up. This isn't normal.

    How far out

Tow Boat US has this range in Charleston. I've spoken with them at this distance without trouble. As far as the other safety items mentioned, I have pretty much the same thing Onoeric mentions except the extra fuel...I hold nearly 150 gallons. One last thing, and I'm not trying to be a...
