I don't think Northstar is out of business...just the fuel management systems are discontinued.

It appears that the Northstar products are discontinued. I've emailed them for information but haven't received a reply. At this point I would be sceptical to use the Northstar in case there are issues down the road.

My 228 factory hardtop has a WMW Marine sticker on the rear starboard post. If I'm not mistaken they make all their tops.

Same problem here although maybe not as extreme. Went offshore Saturday and according to fuel gauge I was much lower than I thought I should be (from many prior trips). I did switch to my auxillary tank on the way home just in case but found that I used 89 gallons which is about 10-15 more...

I'm surprised that you could even get on plane with 130 HP engine. As the others have said, 200 would be the least power I would go with (I have 225 hp). You should keep looking for something that you could better spend your money on.

I have a clear tube that drains the electronics box on the helm in my Seafarer. You can see the tube if you look carefully inside the box.

I have a 4 foot AM/FM antenna mounted on my hardtop. It is only raised when going offshore. I've never had a problem with AM or FM stations close in or far off.

I've drilled a small hole on one end and used a punch to loosen it up.

Great photos! Looks like you did real well on the cobia. Hard to believe the temps for this time of year. It was cooler here the last couple of days also but our water temp is nearly 10 degrees warmer.

Sounds like those lights are giving off some type of signal. If it were me I'd be sending 'em back.

I agree with Walker. On occasion my boat will stay in the water here in Charleston for a week or so at a time during the summer. The water temps will be around 88 degrees and I've never had any growth but I will get a nasty brown stain on the waterline.

Coastal, do you have an Attwood wheel that you put this cap on?
