    yes i have 3 filters 1 raycon-type water/fuel one car type fuel only and one water/fuel that's part of the engine.

    I had removed the old gas from the tank about a year ago. I did leave the fuel pickup tube assembly loose so any water/gas vapors could escape. Its not impossible that some water may have gotten in the tank, but when I put 40 gallons in it read about half full.

    OK I will post a picture of the stuff today. What I recall is mostly slimy brownish liquid on the bottom and a layer (maybe about 15% of total ) of what looks like pristine gas on top.

    flexibile trim on 2000 adventure 208

    Anyone have experience with installing new trim around the back cockpit. Looks like you need to heat the trim to mold it into the right shape. How is this done?? Rich

    Greenwood for sure.....Problem is that the wood doesn't rot but can easily delaminate. that's what happened to my 2000 208.

    Mine are 3/8 inch between tank and motor. West Marine is $10/foot, wow! Got to bite the bullet here, no amazon special for these hoses!!

    Seasick----did what you said and was able to get the hatch above the water tank off... Now replacing the hoses. probably replace the fresh water sprayer hose as well.

    Hi Wondering how you replaced those lines. Easy to access under inspection hatch but on my 208 there doesn't seem to be a way to access the fill cap side with enough clearance to remove the hoses. Maybe the fill cap housing comes out along with the hoses???

    Thanks! Will start today. I'll be replacing all the fuel hoses, hopefully it will go smoothly.
