I'm putting around 9,300lbs on a 10,000lb lift.

Anyone have a 285 Freedom or similar on a 10,000lb lift? The wet weight of the 285 is around 9,400lbs. If the advertised capacity of the lift is 10K, then it's probably fine up to around 11-12K. Just curious if anyone is in this situation.

I am looking forward to writing that! Twin 350s is going to be a massive upgrade.

Any issues with it running down the battery at the sandbar for the day?

Expecting to pick up a new 285 Freedom next week and it has the sink and refrigerator. Never had a boat with a fridge. Are they useful? How is it powered?

So we decided to trade in the 235 for a 2026 285. Feel like the dealership gave us a great deal on my trade in and the purchase. It helps to be personal friends with the manager and all the sales people! The boat should be here within a week (coming from south Florida).

Saw that. I'm assuming they are getting rid of the 255 and 275. The new 265 looks a lot sportier and more modern than the typical Grady also. Wonder if that is a thing we may see more of in other models.

Just got off the phone with their marketing director and she said they had never received so much great feedback on merchandise. Their team actually visited this thread and liked the ideas. She admitted that the company never really put a lot of priority on merch, but they are working on that...

Today discovered a couple of spots that I had put the SoftScrub on and forgot to wash off. Stuff has been on there for almost two weeks. Wiped it off and it didn't harm the gelcoat at all.
