For what it's worth, I was able to resolve a fuel smell issue by replacing the sender gasket. The original cork one had deteriorated. I only noticed the issue when I had the tank topped up.

Is it just me, or do others think there's no gelcoat outside of the sanded are? Isn't that chopped strand?

It's possible that my guys also had some special tools available... they're a huge marina and even make their own downeaster boat...
