What electronics are you running? How recently have you replaced you Lead Acid batteries? I run my livewell, 2 MFDs, radar, 1kW sonar, fridge all day and night without running down the house bank (though with the starboard motor running). I'm wondering if your house bank batteries are still good?

I don't know the specifics of the electronics, but I believe if you open the electrical panel from inside the cabin you can release the pin that attaches the console to the ram so you can open it manually.

I think Seastar offers an add-on autopilot pump: http://www.seastarsolutions.com/products/hydraulic-new/power-steering-new/spa-autopilot/ But you'd have to make sure it's compatible with your AP. For example, I don't think it would work with a Garmin system without adding the rudder sensor.

I'm in the process of replacing my original 2003 FP on my 330 Express with a 2000 watt Mastervolt inverter. My only use of the generator was making a quick cup of coffee or using the microwave for a few minutes, so this should work great for me.

Even with the single row bar which is just over 2" high as I recall, I had to mount it pretty far back on my hardtop to avoid lighting up the bow rail... That's why I have it off to one side instead of centered.
