I know it's a fishing boat but I wanted more cupholders. I don't use the cushions that normally go here because nobody likes those spots because your legs just hang a foot off the deck. If I do decide to use the cushions, I'll have them altered with a cutout or just cover the cup holders.

old thread but I have this same issue. I realize the "right" way is to change them out but way easier said than done. I took them down to the bronze and clear coated them. Just did it a few days ago so the jury still out on whether or not this will hold up. the bronze is soft so it was hard...
