    That bracket should have no water in it at all! there should be a gasket on the drain plug. Make sure the top inspection plate is well sealed also. As a matter of fact, check and reseal the entire bracket where it is attached to the boat.

    What boat are you talking about?! The seacock, whether single or two tanks is in the rear! It is under the back deck hatch. The y valve is under the port rear seat cover.

    I hope you have your answer by now! The Explorer has an either or option for the live well or the washdown. There is a y valve coming from washdown pump which directs the water to your washdown OR the live well. The washdown switch on the dash is the one you use for both.
