Hahaha, I jjsy picked up a Yamaha 9.9 doesn’t have power tilt. Was going to install it on the Jacobsen marine bracket Eveyone seems to love was curious how it would be to hand tilt on that fixed bracket. I also see a panther marine 35 bracket which has its own power tilt seems pretty cool.

Ok gotcha, and the reason for needing to cut it were to be able to mount it low enough for the motor to be at the desired length or can you just mount it so it’s just above the trim tab?

Ok I just ordered the adventure marine bracket will that not work for the 25” motor?

Did you need to cut the bracket at all to fit around the trim tab actuator or is it mounted just above it ? I have same boat and am doing the same set up. Saw few posts where people’ said they needed to cut the bracket? Thanks -Jared

Do you have any pictures of yours? I see some people said they had to bitch the adventure bracket because of the trim tabs. I’m just trying to get a feel for where it has to be mounted, thanks

What part of the bracket had to be notched? I was assuming it would just mount about the trim tab. Orderd my bracket today any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It took me a while to find a used one from a credible person online after multiple scam attempts. I found it on The Hull Truth. Finishing the installation today after I realized my factory bolts aren't long enough with the 4 degree wedge last week.

FYI the stock mounting bolts dont fit when you add the wedge they are special bolts which are impossible to find.

No, I ended up getting one used for 1 season for $1300.00.
