can you fill me in on how to remove this dome light? I’ve taken both bolts out and it won’t budge. I don’t see how it’s even still on?!

Yah my switch is bad I pushed it and it pushed all the way in and. Ow I can’t get it to click and turn the spreader lights on. The courtesy light it functioning normal. I need to replace the black push in switch for the spreader lights

I got the cover off and the 2 nuts.. what else do I need to do to replace the switch? I attempted to take the light apart and off of the hardtop but after removing both nuts the fixture is still solid as a rock

Haha! Yah mine is a 2002 with a Yamaha 175hpdi.. I’ve attached a video of a 208 with a dual binnacle. I wil be trolling Lake Ontario for king salmon so the trolling speed is very important. Thanks for the tips !

Awesome! Maybe I’ll remove swim platform and add kicker bracket to the port side. I was also thinking of getting a kicker without a roller and adding a dual binnacle to control it from ... snags your thoughts on that?

Gotcha! I know, I took a gamble on buying this boat with holes in the cap and open joints I wasn’t positive no water ever got in. When we removed engine they drilled a test hole in the transom and came out with dry clean wood! Was very happy to see that and then have it all sealed up.

Your transom was full of water ?

I replaced mine last week. It was corroded really bad. We removed motor, fiberglassed over the joints under the cap to completely seal the Transom and replaced with a stainless steel piece. Came out great.
