    deck plate gelcoat color

Got my hatch for the rear deck plate and installed it. Prior to install sprayed the plate with gelcoat. My color match is horrible, added way to much beige to try to achieve off white. Would have been better off with no added color. I would like to recoat but on the last spray coat I added...

    bilge hatch

Pulling up my deck plates to reseal and inspect. The rear plate in this picture is over the bilge. Since I have owned the boat it has never been screwed down. Reason being it is the only way to access the bait tank and washdown sea cocks and float switch. This could not possibly be done...

    ignition protection

Since the new 250 Zukes if you start the engines with the Raymarine MFD, Autopilot on they often go crazy. Lose GPS fix and have to be shut down and wait for them to come back. This sometimes happens when drifting or bottom fishing. Asked the shop when they hung engines to wire to prevent this...

    ac/dc mini freezer

Anyone ever put one of these on their boat. Thinking of it to keep ballyhoo frozen while fishing. That way do not thaw out bait I might not use and have to refreeze. Refreezing seems to diminish the bait and cause washout or mushy bait. I could pull some out of this and thaw in a bucket of...

    Insulation

Attached is image of the cover to my live well. The live well is most often used as a fish box and is insulated fairly well on sides and bottom. The cover is about 1 in deep and as you can see uninsulated. Hoping for ideas how to insulate this area and hopefully keep ice better in the summer.

    broken thru hull

Noticed the mushroom outside of livewell drain thru hull had broken off. Remainder of plastic was sitting in the hole. Was able to get hose and both fittings (thru hull and livewell drain) out with some difficulty. Pretty much blind one handed as thru hull is behind battery tray and just at...

    bow pulpit repair

Looking for advice on how to clean up the bow pulpit anchor roller area. I am pretty weak in the fiberglass area so need some help. The entire pulpit is ok, no movement, bending etc... We never anchor in deep water and only use the anchor when at the redneck Riviera at the inlet beach. Maybe...

    digital gauges/tank sender wires

After a couple of months and a few trips I have worked out most of the bugs from the repower. Currently my only problem is that I am pretty sure both gauges are reading my main tank and showing the level of that tank on both gauges. The garmin engine screen does read tank 1 and tank2 and gives...
