My son is very close to buying a 1999 306 Bimini. It has 2006 twin Yamaha 300s on it. I understand the boat was originally rated for 225s or 250s. He's going to use it in the Caribbean in water where it's always rough. Are those 300s too heavy? Any help appreciated.
