Same thing here....stay away from those sprays. In my case I started compounding the stains out, which worked, ran out of time, came back a few days later and all the stains were gone. I guess the sun and rain takes care of it in time. If it gets on your plastic curtains its another story...

I have a similar crack in my 2001 232. I never noticed it and am sure it was never there until one day it seem to magically appear. I attributed the crack to stress but would like to repair it as well. Anyone know if the plastic welding is a 'do it yourself' job??
