this is probably beyond my level, but I think I"d try to isolate the water-pump by maybe jumping it from one of the 110 outlets (use an extension cord ) .

this reply is probably to late to help however... I had the same issue it was the thermometer... Garmin has a replacement thermometer and a patch cable . make sure the cable is long enough or order an add on segment.

try pulling the orange wire off the switch and putting it on a switch which you know works(cockpit lights). If you have a volt meter you can easily see if the breaker is bad, I've had a few over the years easy fix.

check to see if there is water pumping through the water pump. If you have a water hose attachment try hooking it up see if that makes it run. I think this sounds like a bad water pump (or clogged pick up) which is not a bad repair. easy to do yourself.
