    I have the same boat and same year, and mine went out 3 years ago. Defender Marine had the exact replacement in stock for $100 less than anyone else.

    also- if we are using the boat we have to pump every weekend- the tank is too small as it is!! (you'll find out when it starts stinking)

    you don't need the macerator- it doesn't affect the pump out- it's only used for pumping overboard. that being said, there are acutally 2 macerators- the other one is part of the head itself. That is only about $100 +/- (educated guess)

    Bill N- if you are talking to me? it;s a 2002 Marlin- a new pump was somewhere around $600 if I remember correctly- decided it wasn't worth spending the money on

    macerator I took the entire motor apart (I felt like Mike Rowe) and got it unfrozen.. but couldn't get it to operate. I can't imagine having a smaller tank- I think you are looking at way more than $500, though
