my next question is fuel for this motor. Yamalube and use ringfree regularly? I assume 89 octane is better suited for EFI?

Same here with a 1987 Overnighter. To remove main tank, shaving down was required. Had a new tank fabricated, installing next week. New hoses, wiring, guage, etc. Any advice on mounting new tank? Wood shims with rubber and 5200 like old or a better way in 2014?

I am looking to replace the freshwater washdown/faucet system on my 1987 Grady Offshore. Not sure if this was a standard, option or aftermarket for this year hull. I do see pics of Offshores that have same system. Any advice on where to get this replacement part? Tank is in good shape...
