Thanks for the help. We have the resistance charts from CDI and everything ohms out correctly. Going to work on this motor this weekend and hopefully come up with an answer. I'll post the results once we get it figured out to hopefully help someone else with similar issues.

The vinyl sign guys in my area told me to get this stuff. Removed all original cracked, faded, stuck, painted over graphics from my 88' Sailfish in about 1.5 hours with two guys. Would highly suggest if heat does not take them off easily.

Thank you for the other options. Just had her bottom blasted yesterday as well as Grady bracket. Only minor nicks and one scrape uncovered under what seemed like 1/4 inch or more of old bottom paint.
