    Name placement - transom or side?

    I'm new to The Forum. Not sure if I have to start a new thread, but I'm considering where to place the name and port on my 275 Freedom w/a big ol' Yamaha 350. Your answers to PhilFishes post are very helpful. I'm not fond of side-hull lettering, but the transom is limited on the starboard side...

    Is there a drain shut off valve in the freshwater sink in the 275 Freedom? Sink drains very slowly.

    Boat is a new2me 2011 with the fresh water seat/sink.

    185 Tournament tank replacement

    I plan to replace my 52gal tank after discovering corrosion holes on top near the sending unit. 1. Plastic or aluminum? 2. Who to call around New Bedford for an assessment of transom and stringers once the tank is removed. 3. Who to do the work. This job is best left to someone who will back it up.
