What are the advantages of digital controls?

I have a 24v trolling motor on the front and I put 2 batteries in the front console. This should help with the weight What kind of speed are you guys getting with a new 150 hp. I can on get about 39mph with my old 2 stroke.

Been thinking of repower my old 192 for a while now. Have any of you repowered and with what? What size? I have a 150 Yamaha 2 stroke now.

Update: got all the old steering out .. had to remove the motor to install one rod In the motor. Also raised the motor 1 hole. Also got the hole for the helm drilled.

Got my kit in today and I’m going to start next week. Going to install it on my 1995 192. Cable steering is wore out so decided to upgrade after much research. Motor is still the original ‘95 Yamaha but I hope to upgrade that next year. Any tips, ideas, thoughts, comments on the the upgrade?

I have ‘95 192 that I am want to do the same thing. Lot of slop in my old helm. I watched a couple of YouTube videos seems pretty straight forward. Maybe kinda tough to bleed.

I have a 1995 192 with 150 Yamaha. What whole is the motor in on the ones that you guys have suspect mine is too low but with all the 5200 it's not to easy to move. Mine is second from the Botom

I have been having some problems lately with my motor but I think that I have the ironed out now. Just been thinking about a new motor. My old motor is running good now just uses a lot of gas and oil. I know I can buy a lot of gas for 14k-15k.

Been thinking about repowering my 1995 192. It has a 150 Yamaha carb motor. WOT is about 40 mph and that is fine with me and really it has good power out of the hole. Anyone repower with a Suzuki 150, 175 or a 200? what is the difference in performance from 150-200 hp?

want to try to flush mount a sonar in dash on my 192. anyone else modify theirs to do this or another model and what did you use, plexiglass or ect.?

I just got a 110 model as a fishbox/cooler for my grady 192. I really like it!

Went to our new West Marine after dinner tonight and bought an aluminum folding deck chair. They were on sale. Seems to fit the bill just right for me and no drilling holes in my boat. Very sturdy and the wife loves it.
